I knew my grandfather for only twelve (12) years and that’s my age. My Grandfather knew a lot of stories, which he always loved to share. He told us many stories and he would always remind us of the stories whenever we visited. My Dad has 3 comics which I love so much, I love this comics because my Grandfather handed them over to my father. My Grandfather was the one who taught me how to swim without even getting near to the water. He would put his finger in my nose and tell me to recite my alphabets or a time table and I got use to that, I can now swim through that technique. My Dad love to joke and this he learnt from Grand Dad (Daddies) and on the day his demise, dad looked at me and said “Eddy your Grand Pa is Dead”. I got angry and I said to him “ Daddy you can’t joke with everything” but instead of saying “you got me” (as a joke) he said “I can’t joke to that extent, it happened around 10am and the next thing I saw was Uncle Tony sitting at the living room looking down. It affected me but now I realise that everyone would die one day. We loved Grand PA while he was alive , he loved us more but now it is time to let him rest. Believe it or not, I know he is heaven smiling down at us. Adieu and RIP Grand Pa.
